Christ Lives

Jesus' human body was born in Bethlehem. But the son of God has always existed. By being born in a human body so He could die for our sins, is one of the ways God shows us how much He loves us. At this time of year we need to remember the reason He came, so He could redeem us from our sins so we can live forever with Him.
God the Father sacrificed His only begotten Son for our sins so that we don't have to be punished in Hell for our sins. All He asks for in return is that we believe Him. The Gospel of Jesus Christ, 1Corinthians 15:1-4, is what we need to believe in order to be saved from our punishment for our sins.
Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose the third day. Believe this gospel and obtain eternal life and eternity with God.
Jesus is not dead He Lives and will rule forever!

Size of the Universe

You here it ends in Sci Fi, and in astronomy they are looking for the edge of the universe. I remember a TV show once where they even tried to cross the edge of the universe to see what was on the other side.
I use to believe this stuff myself. The truth is though that the universe has no end. I believe the universe is as big as God is powerful. Our God's power is limitless and His universe is a reflection of His power and is also limitless.
I guess you could say that our view of God is partially shape by how powerful we believe He is. If the universe ends so does He and His power. I love our God and since I became a Christian in the fall of 2001 I have grown and the way I look at Him has grown.

Jesus Lives

It is that time of year where we thank God for the coming of His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus was born of a virgin, and lived a sinless life so He could be the spotless lamb needed to be sacrificed for our sins.
Our Lord God and Saviour, Jesus Christ, died on the cross for our sins. On the third Day He rose from the grave. His resurrection was the first of its kind. His body was transformed into a new body that is an example of the body all believers in Him will receive at His second coming at the end of the tribulation. The Bible tells us that He was resurrected this way before anyone else so that He would have preeminence in all things.
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. Colossians 1:18
The Bible also tells us, in the Gospels, that the only signs of what He went through for our sins were the places where the nails were driven through Him and where the spear pierced Him.
His resurrection proves that His sacrifice for our sins was the acceptable payment for our sins. There is no other sacrifices needed or accepted by God the Father since that time. It also proves that He is who He said He is God.
God loves us and wants none of us to perish in Hell for our sins. He wants for all of us to believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ and be saved from our sins. The Gospel is :
Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached to you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
1 Corinthians 15:1-4
That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. Romans 10:9-10
That is all that is needed to be forgiven of our sins. I hope that any who read this will want to believe the God they know exists and repent of their sins.

With God it is by faith

There is a phrase that is used by some people and I have heard it a lot when I have witnessed to people. That phrase is “I’ll believe in God when I see Him.” There are many problems with that attitude. First, we will most likely die before Jesus returns. Second, even if you live long enough to see Him then it is too late. Thirdly, you miss out on all that time you could have been spending with Him.
The likely hood that we will die before God, Jesus Christ, returns is very high. The fact is we all die some day, we just don’t know when that will be. A lot of people think that God is the only one at work during the tribulation. They often forget about or don’t want to discuss what the anti-Christ, false prophet, and Satan are doing during this time. With all the natural disasters that happen during the tribulation over half the worlds population dies, but we often don’t think about how many die at the hands of the wicked. That number is not told to us in the Bible. But since we are told that the false prophet has an image of the anti-Christ made, and that you either worship this image or die (Revelation 13:14-15), the likely hood of surviving the tribulation is greatly reduced. Death is most likely to happen long before the Lord returns and then it is too late because we are sent to either Heaven or Hell based on what we believed while on earth. Those who believed that our God, Jesus Christ, died for our sins, was buried, and rose the third day will go to Heaven, and those who didn’t believe that Gospel will go to Hell and be punished for their sins.
If you are one of those who lives through the tribulation, and don’t bow down to worship the anti-Christ and his image, then you will see Jesus’ glorious return. You will then miss out on receiving an immortal and incorruptible body (1 Corinthians 15: 50-54), and you will miss out on being rewarded for your faithful service to Him while you were on earth. Waiting to see Him only means you get to possibly live on earth during His reign of 1000 years, but not as one of His.
To live and grow here on earth with God is an awesome experience. He teaches you so much about His Word the Holy Bible and about how to live for Him. Don’t misunderstand me I’m not saying there won’t be problems. Your problems won’t disappear, but God teaches us how to cope with them and grow through them. If you wait to believe Jesus you will miss out on Him teaching and comforting you through out your life. Also, since we don’t know when we will die you might not have a chance to believe before you die. Living in our sin all our life is not a bed of roses. It has all the problems as a life with Christ plus all the sorrow that our sinfulness causes us. Jesus Christ helps us to leave our sin, repent, and live for Him.
Seeing is not believing. Jesus tells us we need to believe in Him in order to have eternal life. People all over the world are looking for a way to have immortality. The only way to truly have it is to believe God and His plan of salvation from our sins.
With God it is by faith and faith alone. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is needed to be believed in the heart in order to be saved from our sins and sins punishment death.
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
1 Corinthians 15:1-4

That is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, believe it and be saved from your sins. Go from death to life and be truly immortal.
But what says it? The word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. For the scripture says, Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich to all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Romans 10:8-13
Believe that you are a sinner and will be punished for your sins. Confess to God the Father in Jesus name your sins, and believe the Gospel and be saved from your sins. Have faith in God and His bok the Holy Bible.

Jews and Gentiles are more than the same

There is a false belief that the Jews have been set aside by God until the time of the tribulation. That could not be farther from the truth. Reality is that Jews and Gentiles are the same today, and much more. You see there are only two kinds of people on earth today, those who believe Jesus died for their sins and those who don’t. The Jews are not separated from this. They have to believe Jesus is their Saviour just like the Gentiles do.
For circumcision truly profits, if you keep the law: but if you be a breaker of the law, your circumcision is made uncircumcision. Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfill the law, judge you, who by the letter and circumcision does transgress the law? For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. Romans 2:25-29
A lot of people don’t like to discuss the facts about the above verses when they try to say that the Jews have been set aside. They don’t want to admit that today those who are Jew are those who believe the Gospel. I have been told that this, and other text like it in the New Testament, are not saying that believers are Jews in the Spirit. The fact is though that is exactly what these verses are saying. God looks at what we believe in our hearts and not by what we do outwardly. That which is of the heart is what matters to God. A good example of this is at Luke 18:9-14.
And he spoke this parable to certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank you, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes to heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalts himself shall be abased; and he that humbles himself shall be exalted.
Luke 18:9-14

As we see in the parable above the Pharisee was self justified by his works and not by what was truly needed. The Publican was not so, he was justified by God by what was in his heart. So what we see is that those who boast that they follow the law are not necessarily justified by God, but those who follow the law in their heart will be justified by God.
Now this is not to say we need to follow the law to be saved. That is not true. What the Bible teaches us is that true belief comes by believing God and not by any prayer we say or actions we perform.
It is the same for both Jews and Gentiles and will stay that way until Jesus Christ returns at the end of the tribulation. I know the Bible tells us in Revelation about the nation of Israel being chased in to the wilderness during the tribulation, but that does not mean there is a separation or reseparation of the Jews from the rest of us. It just simply means that they are chased into the wilderness. The same text in Revelation 12 also tells us about how after the Dragon, Satan, chases Israel into the wilderness he turns “and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” In other words Christians. Some would argue that it is talking about Jews who are saved based on the fact that it says “the remnant of her seed.” Which they would say is only Israel, but the truth is that all who have the testimony of Jesus Christ are of Israel and are therefore part of the remnant.
Some would argue that all the Christians were taken off of earth pre-tribulation. Besides the fact that the pre-tribulation rapture is not in the Bible, the problem with this argument is that this would include all Jewish Christians. So at the time of Satan’s being cast to earth there are both Jewish and Gentile believers on earth and they fall into the category of the remnant.
Even as David also describes the blessedness of the man, to whom God imputes righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. Comes this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision. And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed to them also: And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised. For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. Romans 4:6-13
As we see from the above verses we who believe the Gospel have Abraham as our father. Whether we like it or not we, gentile believers, are part of the remnant that Satan turns his attacks to during the tribulation. The point of all this is that not only are Jews and Gentiles the same, we are part of the same family. That family of believers is the family of God. There is no separate places in Heaven for each denomination or ethnic group. We will all be together as one big family and we will all be with God, Jesus Christ, during His reign on earth. We also can see that the blessedness of eternal life and being part of God’s eternal family comes by faith and not by the works of the law. This is important to remember for some denominations try to tell us that we need to perform works as well as believe in order to be saved.
For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? Romans 11:15
The above verse is often taken out of context to show that Israel has indeed be set aside. But if we put it in context with the rest of chapter 11 we see that it is actually referring to the Jews being partially blinded from the truth for the sake of the Gentiles, Romans 11:10-11. So we see they aren’t set aside awaiting the tribulation. They need to believe the Gospel just like the Gentiles.
Jews and Gentiles are more than just the same and thanks to God, and how He worked things out, we are part of the same family, here on earth and in heaven.

The Catholic church is still at its old tricks

I was in my car flipping through the radio stations when I heard someone mention the Holy Spirit. I thought “Cool, I love the Holy Spirit. This should be good." It wasn’t long before I realized that I was wrong.
It seems the Catholic station I stopped on was talking about how people are taught by the Holy Spirit the Bible. Upon listening some more I had the displeasure of hearing the two Catholic show hosts explain how that people cannot discern the Bible. They didn’t outright say so but the feeling I got was that the Holy Spirit is unable to teach people God’s Word. They then gave an example to show how people cannot know what the Bible says. That example was the fact that there are so many different denominations. This proves that people cannot discern the Bible and that we should all be only reading the holy Catholic catechism.
There were a few things that disturbed me about this Catholic radio show, first they referred to the Holy Bible as “the Bible” and the Catholic catechism as the Holy catechism. Secondly, the way they talked about our inability to discern the Holy Bible even with the Holy Spirit’s help was very upsetting. Thirdly, they totally ignored the fact that people harden their hearts to God’s Word, which is a problem with many denominations not just the Catholic Church.
The fact that the Catholic’s on this show referred to the catechism as Holy and not the Bible shows there lack of respect for the Word of God. By doing this they put the catechism in the place of authority over the Bible. The Holy Bible is the authority and anything that contradicts it, including the Catholic catechism, should be ignored as authoritative. After all, the Catholic catechism (just like the Mormon books, the Koran, the literature of the Jehovah Witnesses, and the writings of Cornelius M. Stam) are written by humans. The Bible on the other hand is written by God through man. The Bible says it is the inspired word of God.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished to all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
So therefore the truth is the Holy Bible is the book we should trust above all others.
Like I said, the way they were talking about the Holy Spirit and our inability to discern God’s Word disturbed me greatly. This is because the Holy Spirit is the best teacher we have to teach us the Holy Bible. He is the one who wrote the Holy Bible through people. Who better to teach us the Word of God then the writer Himself.
The hosts saying that it is because of a lack of discernment was only partly correct. The truth is that most of the trouble comes from people hardening their hearts to God and His Word. That is one of the reasons we have so many different denominations. It seems we are only willing to grow with God so much before we harden our hearts and refuse to grow anymore. What happens is someone shows the people at their church that something they believe is misunderstood or wrong and the people at the church refuse to change to fall in line with the Bible. They come up with many reasons why they believe what they believe. The people see that the denomination they are apart of won’t fall in line with the Bible and seek to start their own denomination. The same thing happens time and time again until you get what we have today, many denominations with their own sets of beliefs.
There are of course some other reasons for many denominations; like not wanting to believe the Bible is the authority, or that they can’t understand the full truth of God so they come up with their own way to understand the Bible. There are many more reasons for many denominations readers of this post can probably come up with a few. The way we are, sinful, combined with a sin cursed universe causes all kinds of denominational problems, but lack of discernment of the Holy Bible is mainly caused by a hardened heart and not by the Holy Spirit's inability to teach us.
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Ephesians 4:30

All they are is fallen angels

In ancient times they would paint or draw demons to look hideous not because they actually thought they looked that way, but because they were making fun of them. They were trying to show the demons that they weren't afraid of them. Hundreds of years later that truth is lost and replaced with fanciful ideas that make us afraid of demons.
Well, all demons are is fallen angels. And the angels as a whole were created by God.
Even Satan himself is a fallen angel. There really is no need to be afraid of them, even if you have one pretending to be a ghost; yes, that is all a ghost is, a fallen angel trying to keep you from believing the truth. After all, if you are believing in ghosts you won’t believe that you actually will either go to heaven or hell when you die. You will believe that you might be stuck in some horrific limbo where you constantly relive your dying moment. The more you believe in ghosts the less likely you are to believe God and His Word the Bible. By getting us to believe in other things and not the Bible fallen angels get what they really want, you and me to burn in hell right along side them.
That is the only thing scary about fallen angels, they don’t care about us at all. I dare say, I believe they hate us, humans, with a passion. That is why they go to all kinds of links to deceive us in to not believing God. They want us to burn in hell. Their hatred of us has tainted their sense abilities and they will do anything in their power to get us to not believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Gospel is simple enough, believe that God the Son, Jesus Christ, died for your sins, was buried, and rose the third day and you will be saved from your sins and the punishment for them.. If the fallen angels can keep us from believing that simple truth they get to watch us throughly burning for ever.
That is the truth.
The nice thing is that even though they are trying to keep us from believing God, whom we all know exists, they do have their limits as to what they can do to us. That is why they primarily stick to deception and tempting tactics to try and keep us from believing the truth. They know that they can stick one to God every time one of us dies and goes to hell. A good example of how they are limited in what they can do to us is in the book of Job.
In Job chapter 1 we see Satan and God talking about Job and God allows Satan to do things in Jobs life only Satan is not allowed to harm Job. The things that happen to Job’s family, flocks, and servants are scary things indeed, but what we need to see is that Satan was not allowed to do anything to Job’s life without getting God’s permission first. The other thing we need to see is that Satan was limited in what he could effect in Job’s life. I believe that most of what Satan and the other fallen angels are allowed to do in our lives is similar to this.
For instance, they are primarily allowed to try and deceive and tempt us. We also need to remember that they don’t have bills to pay, family to take care of, and cope with the woes of this sin cursed world. All they do all day and night is watch us. While they watch us they try to figure out ways to keep us from trusting and believing God. And if we do turn to God and believe Him, they then try to hamper our lives to keep us from telling others about how to be saved from our sins. Unfortunately, they are quite successful at getting people to believe falsehoods such as the Koran, Mormon books, Jehovah Witness literature, Catholic catechism, etc. Because of our sin nature we have a tendency to want to stay away from God and we try to come up with new ways to deny His existence. The fallen angels just feed our thoughts with things to help us along.
They have been doing it for so long, since creation almost 6000 years ago, that they have gotten quite good at their wicked ways.
Because of the influence they have on our thoughts people believe in evolution, witch craft, false gods, ghosts, etc. all thanks to the probing and prodding of fallen angels. Their influence on our thoughts has caused some of the most horrific crimes to come to happen. Because of these false ways of thinking we have been graced with such things as abortion, sacrificing of humans to idols and false gods, homosexuality, murder, rape, and all manner of abuses upon each other and ourselves. Since we are sinful in our heart, until we get saved from our sins, it is pretty easy for them to tempt our thoughts with all manner of debauchery.
And as we get deeper into our sins they feed our thoughts with more wickedness. It is then that we start to love our sins, especially sexual, and try to justify them. As humanity as a whole slips further into sin and justifying it the more corrupt society gets, and before you know it we are a world of miscreants destined to a life of hell fire.
So the next time you see a cup mysteriously move on its own, or are tempted to sin just remember all they are is fallen angels. The truth lies in the Holy Bible. The fallen Angels don't want us reading it so they like to caused us to doubt it. Throw a fallen angel for a loop, read and believe the Bible.
